'Ripple' Wall Hanging is made with quilted maple wood by Sally Weekes. Finished with blue ink and oil. Framed in stainless steel.

This wood is amazing, it has a three dimensional feel to it and almost looks like joined up bubbles!

This pair is a one off as wood grain can never be repeated. It is, however possible to make similar pieces again, size and colours can also be specified.

'Fire' wall hanging is made from Burl Mahogany by Sally Weekes. Finished with henna, cochineal and a blend of oils.

Rich, warm and would look fantastic above a fire place or any wall that needs warming up. There are natural hues of amber light within the wood. It can also be positioned landscape or portrait!

One of a kind, however similar pieces can be achieved depending on wood supply.

Wallhangings

The 'Three Kings' wall hanging/triptych is made from the best Crown Santos Rose Wood by Sally Weekes. Finished with cochineal and French polished.

These three pieces are amazing in natural colour and grain and can be positioned portrait or landscape above a bed or sofa perhaps. The panels can be arranged in many ways to create different patterns within the grain of the Rose Wood.

This wood was actually from the same log used in the Harry Potter set. It is dramatic and one of a kind. Rose wood is now very rare to get, rightly so as it is now highly protected, however this wood particular log was from very old stock.

Wallhangings

'Kaleido Quarter' Wall Hanging is made in 4 sections from Burr Olive Ash by Sally Weekes. This wood is incredible in grain movement and as the piece is in 4 separate sections it is possible to position this piece on the wall to create many patterns.

Gold and silver leaf are inlayed into the knots and finished with oil to bring the wood to life. How many faces can you see?

Wallhangings

There are so many different species of tree in the world and with each tree being different no two pieces of my work are the same. I have seen hundreds of pieces of wood each with their own character and story to tell. It is not like working on a blank canvas as nature has already mapped out the picture for me. The grain in woods can very dramatically from strong and bold to sensitive and complex. Either way they deserve to be looked at like any other artistþs work. Nature is very creative and I am lucky enough to work with it; using my dyes, oils and waxes I aim to enhance what already exists.

My wallhangings can not be reproduced in anyway each one is an original. The prices start from £400. Choice of a particular wood/s and artwork involved determine the cost.
